Blindfish Industries

I’m widening the scope of Blindfish Industries, which hopefully will bring about more updates, more regularly. Today we have a viking costume that I made in 2007, mostly out of recycled materials. I sold it at a fundraiser, which I regret a little bit to this day.

At the very least I’ll have to make another axe and shield to hang on the wall. they look so badass. The axe is parts of a wooden chair, a belt and some shiny plastic I found in a parking lot, and the shield is a 24″ bike wheel napkin holders, a spoke protector, IKEA shelving, a mixing bowl, and there’s an armstrap on the back made from another belt.

Then there’s the outfit, which is a modified skirt, a sweater and died long johns, the helmet, which I made an instructable for, and the leather pads, made from my sister’s boots and a vinyl jacket that I found in an alley, and held together with paper rivet.

The name is Tork Chaingaard, obviously.
